  • ronnie Mitchell
    Interim Pastor

    Ronnie has been in ministry for almost 50 years. Ronnie and his wife Sherri are members at Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga and enjoy travelling to the beach together. Ronnie enjoys going to the gym, and writing. He has written for some Southern Baptist Magazines, a number of poems, one book and two children’s books.

    associate pastor

    Adam, serves as bi-vocational associate pastor, has been a member of PSBC since 2009, when he was saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
    Adam has served PSBC in many different roles, with an emphasis on teaching the Word of God.
    He has worked in many different career fields including the United States Marine Corp, fiber optic communications, law enforcement, and is currently working in the utility industry. His first love however, is Jesus and teaching others about Him.
    He is married to his lovely bride Amanda, and together they have five children, August, Jude, Layla, Hazel, and Jack.

    Douglas serves as worship leader and has been a member of Poplar Springs for almost 10 years. He holds a conviction of simple congregational worship where all, musicians and singers alike, are encouraged to worship God with genuine hearts. He is married to his wonderful wife Lauren and they have 4 children together, Ellie Sue, Neva Mae, Rachel, and James.
